The rate per square foot falls as the floor grows, because mobilisation, grinding setup, mixing and cure time barely change between a one-car garage and a warehouse bay. Spread across more feet, the fixed part of the job gets cheaper per foot. Measure length times width and you have the number every quote is built on.
Solid color is the plainest and the quickest to lay. Flake and quartz build up from there. Metallic is worked by hand while the resin is still moving, so it costs more in time as well as material, and that handwork is why no two come out the same.
This is the line that moves between two floors of the same size, and the one nobody can read from a photograph. Cracks need cutting and filling. Old coating has to come off. A slab passing moisture upward needs that dealt with before any resin goes down.
