Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

In this Privacy Policy, "Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to or can reasonably be associated with an identifiable individual. We collect Personal Information that you submit to us, and certain technical information that is collected automatically when you use the Site.

When you request an estimate, we collect the information you enter into the form. This consists of your name, telephone number and email address; the address of the property in respect of which the estimate is requested; the approximate area of the floor, the surface concerned and the use to which the space is put; and any information you choose to enter in the notes field. Certain forms additionally request information concerning the condition of the concrete slab, including its approximate age and whether it exhibits cracking, moisture, oil staining or pitting, and provide an optional field for a business name. Your ZIP code is derived from the property address and is not separately requested.

A request cannot be submitted without your name, telephone number, email address, the property address, the floor area, the surface, the type of space, and the consent described in Section 5. All remaining fields are optional and may be left blank without affecting your request.

Where you consent to receive text messages, we record that consent and the time at which it was given, as required by federal law governing commercial text messaging. The consent control is not selected by default.

We also collect, automatically and through the analytics services described in Section 4, an approximate geographic location derived from your IP address, the pages of the Site you view, and the type of device and browser you use.

The Site does not process payments, and we therefore do not receive payment card or bank account details through it. We do not request your date of birth, Social Security number or income, and the Site provides no account registration and stores no passwords.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use Personal Information for the purposes for which it was provided, and for the related purposes described below.

We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, to contact you by telephone, text message or email regarding that inquiry, and to prepare an estimate for the work described. Your contact details are not used for any other purpose.

Where an inquiry results in work being performed, the information forms part of the contract and job file that a registered home improvement contractor is required to maintain under Connecticut law.

We use the information described in Section 4 to understand how the Site is used, including which pages are read and at what point a form is abandoned, in order to improve the Site.

We do not use Personal Information collected through the Site to build a marketing list. Submitting a request for an estimate does not subscribe you to any newsletter or other marketing communication.

3. How We Disclose Your Information

We do not sell Personal Information and we do not disclose it to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We disclose it only to the service providers that process it on our behalf, and where the law requires.

When you submit a form, the submission is transmitted to an application operated by us on the Cloudflare platform, which retains a copy of the submission in a database under our control and transmits it to Zapier, Inc., which delivers it to us. Cloudflare, Inc. and Zapier, Inc. (each a "Service Provider") process the information solely on our instructions and subject to their own privacy terms, and do not use it for their own purposes. This routing is used so that the delivery endpoint is not published in the source code of the Site where it could be used to submit fraudulent inquiries, and so that a submission is not lost if delivery fails. No third party other than these Service Providers receives the information you submit through a form.

The analytics providers identified in Section 4 receive the technical information described in that section.

We may disclose Personal Information where we are required to do so by law, by subpoena or other legal process, or where disclosure is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. We may also disclose Personal Information in connection with a sale or transfer of all or part of the business, in which case it would remain subject to this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell Personal Information to lead brokers, to other contractors, or to any other person, and we do not share it with third parties for targeted advertising.

4. Cookies, Analytics and Session Recording

The Site uses Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity. Each of these services places cookies on your device. The Site sets no cookies of its own and displays no advertising or retargeting pixels.

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, provided by Google LLC, record the number of visitors to each page of the Site, the pages visited, and whether a form is completed. This information does not identify you by name.

Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft Corporation, records a replay of your session, comprising the pages viewed, scrolling, clicks and mouse movement, and produces heatmaps from those sessions. We review these recordings in order to identify parts of the Site that cause difficulty. Text entered into any field of a form is masked within your browser before the recording is transmitted, and the contents of a form submission are not captured. A recording accordingly shows that a form was completed but does not disclose the information entered into it. Microsoft collects this information through cookies and similar technologies and processes it in accordance with the Microsoft Privacy Statement at https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.

These services are configured to operate on www.atlasepoxyfloors.com and offers.atlasepoxyfloors.com only, and are disabled in the code of any staging or review copy of the Site. A single Microsoft Clarity project operates on both websites, so that a visit which begins on one and continues on the other is recorded as one visit.

You may prevent this collection by blocking cookies for the Site in your browser settings, by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by using a tracker blocker, which will also prevent session recording. The forms on the Site continue to function if you do so.

The Site does not operate a Meta pixel, any retargeting tag, or any other technology that tracks you across other websites.

5. Text Messages and Telephone Calls

Text messaging is optional, requires your express consent, and may be discontinued by you at any time.

The consent control on our forms is not selected by default, and we do not send text messages unless you select it. Where you do so, you consent to receive text messages from Atlas relating to your inquiry.

You may withdraw that consent at any time by replying STOP to any message. Withdrawal takes effect immediately and applies to all subsequent messages. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.

Withholding consent to text messages does not affect your request for an estimate. Where consent is not given, we will contact you by telephone or email instead, and the estimate is provided on the same terms and without charge.

6. How We Protect Your Information

We maintain reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect Personal Information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.

The Site is served over HTTPS, so that information submitted through it is encrypted in transit. Access to inquiries is limited to the owner of the business.

No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. How Long We Retain Your Information

We retain Personal Information for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or for such longer period as the law requires.

An inquiry that does not result in work being performed is retained while the inquiry remains active and is deleted thereafter, together with the copy held by Cloudflare. That copy is not cleared automatically on a fixed schedule; it is deleted when we delete it.

Where work is performed, Connecticut law requires a registered home improvement contractor to retain records of the work and of the contract. We retain those records for the period required and no longer.

If you ask us to delete your Personal Information sooner, we do so on the day the request is received, including the copy held by Cloudflare. We cannot delete records that a contract or Connecticut record-keeping requirements oblige us to retain, and where that applies to your request we will identify the records retained and the reason for their retention.

8. Your Rights Under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act

Atlas Epoxy Floors, LLC is subject to the Connecticut Data Privacy Act. This Section sets out the rights that Act confers on you and the statutory periods within which we must respond.

You have the right to confirm whether we are processing your Personal Information and to obtain a copy of it in a portable and readily usable format; the right to require the correction of inaccurate Personal Information; and the right to require the deletion of Personal Information concerning you, save where Connecticut record-keeping requirements oblige us to retain a job file.

You further have the right to opt out of the processing of your Personal Information for the purposes of targeted advertising, of the sale of Personal Information, and of profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. Atlas does not engage in any of these three activities, and an opt-out accordingly does not alter our handling of your Personal Information. The right subsists irrespective of whether we engage in the activity.

We will respond to a request within 45 days of receipt. Where a request is complex or numerous, we may extend that period once by a further 45 days, and will notify you of the extension and the reason for it before the extension begins. The first request made in any twelve-month period is provided free of charge.

Where we decline to act on a request, you may appeal by replying to our response and stating that you are appealing. We will provide a written decision setting out our reasons within 60 days of receipt of the appeal. If the appeal is denied, we will provide you with a means of submitting a complaint to the Connecticut Attorney General.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. There is no form to complete.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from them.

We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from any person under 13 years of age. If you believe that a child has provided Personal Information to us, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site contains links to websites operated by third parties, including Google.

We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. A link does not constitute an endorsement. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Site, and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party website you visit.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the head of this page is updated whenever we do so and is never backdated.

Any amendment takes effect upon publication on this page, and the effective date is updated on the same day. We do not maintain a record of previous versions, and the effective date is accordingly the date to which you should refer.

This Privacy Policy was last amended on 24 September 2026, to replace LogRocket, Inc. with Microsoft Corporation's Clarity service for session recording, and to record that one Clarity project operates on both websites.
