Every system we install will look good on the day we put it down. What separates them is what happens to your floor over the next ten years.
Traffic
Your garage takes a car and dropped tools. A warehouse takes pallet trucks and impact. That difference is the whole argument for an aggregate-built system over a thin one.
Water
If your floor is wet as a matter of routine we specify grip into the surface rather than hoping for it. Pool decks and commercial kitchens are the obvious ones, and a garage in a Connecticut winter is the one people forget.
Daylight
Clear epoxy ambers where sun lands on it directly. If your space has a glass door or a window wall, we make the top coat UV stable or your color shifts within a couple of summers. This is the most common reason a floor looks wrong later.

When Two Systems Are Genuinely Close
It happens often and it is not a failure of the tool.
Flake and solid color
Your decision is almost always about whether the floor will show marks. In a working garage, we would put flake down.
Metallic and flake
Whether you look at the floor. If your garage opens into the house, we think metallic is worth the difference.
Quartz and flake
Whether the floor gets washed rather than swept. Wash-down means quartz.
Any of them and polyaspartic
Not a competing choice. It is the top coat over whichever body you pick.

Brad reads your slab and you pick your finish
He checks for cracks, old coating and moisture, then measures up. You choose your flake blend or metallic against your own floor, not a brochure. Your written quote comes back the same day.

We grind it back and build your floor up
Your slab goes back to bare concrete under a diamond grinder with dust extraction. Then the primer, the body coat with your flake or metallic, and the top coat. You get your walk-on and park-on times with the quote.

What if two systems both fit?

Most floors we build already are a combination. Epoxy builds the body and a polyaspartic top coat takes your wear.
